Friday, 20 July 2012-Grand Opening Day
Morning- Opening Ceremonies
Daytime:
Sea Scout and Maritime Expo at the main venue, onboard vessels, and pierside
Sea Scouts not manning the Expo may use the time to visit the local attractions they have not yet seen.
Evening:
Dinner for Vip guests and ship Boatswains. Location TBD
Saturday, 21 July 2012- Scoutfleet Review and Birthday Party Dinner Dance
Morning:
Seas Scout Expo onboard the Sea Scout vessels and pierside continues.
Tours of local attractions continues
Noon: Prepare for the Scoutfleet Review
Participants secure the Sea Scout Expo and prepare to get underway for the Scoutfleet Review
Afternoon:
Fleet Review of the Parade of Small Ships by the President of the United States, or designated representative, Fort McHenry, MD.
The fleet of Sea Scout Small Ships will parade past Fort McHenry, birthplace of the Star Spangled Banner to be saluted by
the President of the United States or his representative
the Governor of Maryland;
the U.S. Navy Band;
the Baltimore Fire Department fire boats; and
the steam whistle of Liberty Ship JOHN W. BROWN
Sea Scouts not having their own vessel available for the parade participate in the review onboard brother Sea Scout vessels or USPS vessels.
After circling off Fort McHenry, in sight of the Francis Scott Key buoy near Key Bridge where Key wrote his poem The Defense of Fort McHenry which is now our national anthem, the Centennial ScoutFleet returns to port
Evening:
Gala 100th Sea Scout Birthday party and dinner celebration pier side for all guests and participants
Dinner
Presentation of awards and recognitions
Ice Cream and Cake with 100 candles
Evening fireworks display
Sea Scout Birthday Ball
Sunday, 22 July 2012- Scouts' Own Service/ Blessing of the Fleet
Morning:
Scout’s Own Sunday Service with Reverend Gene Foley.
Blessing of the Fleet by Monsignor John Brady.
Late Morning and Afternoon:
Sea Scout Expo onboard the Sea Scout vessels and pierside continues.
Tours of attractions continue.
ScoutFleet Night Camden Yards
Sea Scouts enjoy a night at an Orioles Game.
Sea Scout to sing the national anthem.
